What is the Rake Free Promotion?

In an unprecedented move for internet poker, Party Poker has eliminated the rake from their multi table poker tournaments.  The rake is the fee that you normally pay to enter a poker tournament. For example if a tournament has a buy in of $100+9 the $9 is a fee that goes to the house. The $100 goes into the prize pool and is distributed amongst the players that cash in the tournament.

If you like to play multi table poker tournaments, then this presents an excellent way to save money and pad your bankroll.  In all my years in online poker, I have never seen a promotion like this.
